VANTAGE MOTOR CLAIMS
Terms & Conditions.
Clear information about our services, our responsibilities and what to expect when engaging with Vantage Motor Claims.
OUR TERMS
Transparent from the start.
Please read the information below. Effective date: 18/10/2026
Important information. These terms outline website use and general claims assistance conditions. A separate service agreement or Authority to Act may apply when we accept a claim.
01
General Information
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and enquiries submitted to Vantage Motor Claims ("Vantage", "we", "us" or "our"). Vantage provides motor vehicle claims assistance services, including vehicle assessments, insurance assessment reviews, claims coordination, repair management and related assistance. By using this website, you agree to these website terms. Any formal engagement may be subject to a separate written agreement.
02
Scope of Services
Depending on eligibility and individual circumstances, our services may include not-at-fault motor vehicle claims assistance, independent damage assessments, insurance assessment reviews and negotiations, vehicle repair coordination, total loss and settlement assistance, and replacement vehicle assistance. The available services and their scope are confirmed case by case.
03
No Guarantee of Claim Outcomes
We aim to achieve fair and reasonable outcomes, but cannot guarantee claim acceptance, approval of particular repairs or costs, a specific settlement or valuation, reimbursement of replacement vehicle expenses, or repair completion within a particular timeframe. Outcomes depend on evidence, liability, applicable law and the circumstances of the accident.
04
Vehicle Assessments
Assessments rely on the information and vehicle condition available at the time of inspection. Further accident-related damage may become apparent during dismantling or repairs and may require a supplementary assessment. An assessment does not guarantee approval by an insurer or another party.
05
Repairs & Third-Party Providers
Vantage may help coordinate independent repairers, towing operators, assessors, hire-car providers and other providers. Their responsibilities, including repair warranties, costs and timeframes, depend on the relevant arrangements and applicable law. Please raise any concerns about coordinated services with us so they can be reviewed.
06
Customer Responsibilities
Customers should give accurate and complete information, disclose relevant insurance and claim details, supply reasonably requested documentation, promptly notify us of material changes and approve repairs or settlements when their authorisation is needed. Inaccurate or incomplete information may delay or affect a claim.
07
Fees & Charges
Any fees payable to Vantage will be disclosed and agreed before the relevant paid services begin. We will communicate applicable charges, payment responsibilities and potential out-of-pocket expenses for coordinated services. Recovery from an insurer or responsible party is not guaranteed.
08
Authority to Act
Submitting a website enquiry does not itself authorise Vantage to negotiate, settle or accept a claim on your behalf. Where formal representation is required, a separate Authority to Act agreement may be requested. We will not accept a final settlement on your behalf without appropriate authority.
09
Privacy & Personal Information
We handle personal, vehicle and accident-related information to respond to enquiries and deliver services. Information may be shared with insurers, repairers, assessors and other relevant providers where reasonably necessary and lawfully permitted. Please see our separate Privacy Policy for further information.
10
Privacy & Personal Information
This website provides general information about Vantage and its services. It is not a definitive assessment of legal rights, insurance coverage, liability or compensation entitlements, and does not constitute legal or financial product advice. Obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.
11
Liability & Consumer Rights
Vantage will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing its services. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, remedies or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Responsibility for loss or damage is governed by the relevant agreement and applicable law.
12
Changes to These Terms
We may update these website terms from time to time. Changes will be published on this website and apply prospectively. Any changes to an existing customer agreement will be managed under that agreement and applicable law.
13
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth legislation. Nothing here limits rights under mandatory consumer protection laws.
